Wedding at First United Methodist Church

 We had a chance to get to know Jordan and Randy during their engagement session the previous Fall and had been looking forward to the wedding all winter! We started the wedding day with the girls getting ready with hairstyling and makeup from Melissa Bogardus at the Bridal Suite of Baron's Bluff.  Jordan was stunning in her wedding gown form Bella Bridal.  In Bloom created amazing bouquets for the girls and simple, yet striking boutonnieres for the gents. The couple chose to keep things traditional and didn't want to see each other before the ceremony;  so, we travelled to First United Methodists for photos of the bride and groom separately before guests arrived for the wedding ceremony.  First United Church is one of our favorite venues, I love the alabaster walls, huge purple doors and the beauty of the grand sanctuary and pipe organ. Following the ceremony, Missy and I photographed Randy and Jordan together along with formal family photos before heading back to Burritt on the Mountain for a fantastic reception!  The reception was decorated with floral arrangements provided by InBloom. The guests enjoyed the wonderful catering and hospitality of Catering by Narvell. While everyone mingled during the cocktail hour, we took the opportunity to photograph the couple on the observation deck of The View overlooking Huntsville during sunset and get some outdoor group photos of their guests.  The amazing cakes were provided by Batter Up! The party started with the couple's dance and the beats of Metropolitan Disc Jockey Service kept the dance floor packed all night.  We have been so honored to photograph this wonderful family and we can't wait to see their family grow!
